Can one do this job in one’s home?
Hi ruth, No, the ad is clear that it is not a telecommuting job. This has nothing to do with me as I am just posting the ad as requested by the company doing the hiring. Thanks for asking though. Dick
I just wrote a post wondering what the details are about this job. They’ve been running ads pretty regularly since June 2009 (at least). Are you willing to share any details about the job and/or the company (or can you put me in touch with anyone who will)?
Hi Kerry, First let me pat myself on the back a little and then I will answer your question. My name is Dick Hillenbrand and I operate this website and Blog about Upstate New York Genealogy. If you read something on this website you can take it to the bank that it is legitimate. I know full details about this job offer and I can tell you that it is 100% on the up and up and if they do not want to give out particulars to people that can not possibly qualify for the position, then that is their right and I would not disclose anything more. Many of the people that work on this project would most likely be willing to do it for free if labor laws were not in effect. It is, hands down, the most important and in-depth genealogical study that I have EVER heard of. Dick Hillenbrand
